The Mid-Peninsula Widows & Widowers Association was formed in 1976
to provide support through the transitional period and beyond for those who have experienced the loss of a spouse.
Over a period of time we gain courage and face the fact that, though alone, we can go on with life.
Our support groups offer the understanding that can only come from others who have experienced a similar grief.
Grief is a universal human experience. When grief is shared, adjustment is easier.
Mutual needs are recognized and met through participation in various activities:
What does our group offer?
